Terms of Service — FilmDevMate

Effective Date 2026-08-05

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the FilmDevMate mobile application (the "Service") operated by OBJECTYE ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Provider Information

OperatorOBJECTYE
Business registration no.160-67-00737 (South Korea)
Contactdevelop@yeji-hong.com

FilmDevMate is operated by a single independent developer registered as a sole proprietor in South Korea. We do not publish a physical business address; support is provided by email only.

2. Service Description

FilmDevMate lets you look up and save film development recipes, keep development records, and use an in-app development timer. The Service is provided free of charge and is funded solely by banner advertising. We do not offer paid tiers, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

You may create an account using a Google account, an Apple account, or an email/password combination. You confirm the information you provide is accurate. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time from in-app settings; deletion is handled per our Privacy Policy.

The Service is not directed to children under 16 (see Privacy Policy Section 11).

4. User Content

The Service lets you create and submit your own development recipes, and request additions to the film/developer catalog. You retain ownership of content you submit ("User Content"). By submitting User Content you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, display, and share it within the Service (for example, so other users can discover and view recipes you've made public) for as long as needed to operate and improve the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring your User Content doesn't infringe third-party rights and is accurate to the best of your knowledge. We may edit or remove content that is inaccurate, inappropriate, or violates these Terms, without prior notice.

You may also choose to submit a photo of your developed film negative through the in-app "Exposure Feedback" feature, together with your exposure verdict and ISO setting. Submitted photos are used solely to improve the accuracy of our exposure-judgment feature, including training our detection model; see our Privacy Policy for details on collection, use, and retention.

5. Acceptable Use

6. Advertising

The Service is funded by banner ads served through Google AdMob. Handling of advertising-related personal data (advertising identifiers, etc.) is described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the content of ads served by third-party advertisers and are not a party to any transaction between you and an advertiser.

7. Changes and Availability

We may change or discontinue features of the Service for operational or technical reasons. If we permanently discontinue the Service, we will give at least 30 days' notice in-app or on this page. Because the Service is free, no financial compensation is due for changes or discontinuation.

8. Right of Withdrawal (EU/EEA Consumers)

Because the Service is free and involves no payment, the 14-day withdrawal right under Directive 2011/83/EU has no practical financial effect here — there is nothing to refund. You can nonetheless stop using the Service and delete your account at any time at no cost, which achieves the same outcome as withdrawal.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service's software, design, logos, and the official film/developer catalog data are owned by us or our licensors. Except as expressly permitted for your personal use, or for User Content under Section 4, you may not copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit them without our prior written consent.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for damages arising from:

Because the Service is provided free of charge, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law, except for liability arising from our intent or gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law — including, for EU/EEA consumers, mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence, which remain unaffected by this Section.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court under Korean civil procedure law, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer resident in the EU/EEA to bring proceedings in the courts of your own country of residence (Regulation (EU) 1215/2012, Art. 18).

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms as the Service or applicable law changes. Material changes will be posted on this page at least 7 days before taking effect (30 days for changes adverse to consumers). Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

14. Contact

These Terms take effect on 2026-08-05.
